Bolinda Digital is an Australian-based ebook provider to schools and libraries, as well as retail customers. They are an innovative market leader and expert in the library and school markets, providing high-quality eContent through BorrowBox, its unique, customer-branded digital solution, and service. BorrowBox enables members of public and school libraries to borrow content for limited periods by way of single use digital loans. Since the entire service is proprietary, Bolinda Digital retains effective control over all parts of the process and maintains security over content supplied by publishers. This contributes greatly to Bolinda Digital’s role as gatekeeper of the intellectual property rights of publishers and authors, which it takes very seriously. By working collaboratively with publishers to establish a sustainable business model for library lending, Bolinda Digital seeks to build lasting relationships in order to generate long-term financial and other benefits for both parties and provide a wider range of the world’s best content to end users.
