As part of our validation process, related physical products that are included in your metadata appear as separate products in Athena. These separate physical products are then validated against iBooks' pricing rules so we can let you know in your Failed Distribution report when you have titles that will not be visible on Apple's app. 

We do not distribute the physical records to any retailers, but we do provide the related product ISBN to retailers to quickly link versions on retailer sites.
